AstaZero completes the world’s first successful testing for 3GPP-based Mission Critical Services, meeting the newly announced Global Certification Forum certification criteria.
AstaZero announced today that it has successfully performed the world’s first 3GPP-based communication systems Mission Critical Services (MCS) conformance certification tests.
The new GCF test criteria include fulfilment of the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) standard for mission-critical push-to-talk (MCPTT) services. The tests comply with the new criteria set by the Global Certification Forum (GCF) and The Critical Communication Association (TCCA). This achievement marks a significant milestone in the development of secure and reliable communication technologies for mission-critical operations.
The mission critical communication systems used by police forces, ambulance services, fire brigades and other society organizations require uninterrupted and secure communication. The world’s first certification test fulfilling the new GCF and TCCA criteria for 3GPP-based MCS conformance certification tests was conducted at RISE’s ISO 17025 accredited Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) chambers in Borås, Sweden. The new criteria for conformance test and certification ensure that 3GPP-based MCS critical communication systems are interoperable, reliable and secure.
