On March 28th, we had the pleasure of welcoming 20 enthusiastic students for IGE Day (Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day) for an inspiring visit to RISE’s test facility for Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and Wireless Communications in Borรฅs and RISE Proving Ground AstaZero in Sandhult.

IGE Day is a national initiative designed to inspire girls and non-binary individuals aged 13 to 19 by giving them hands-on experience of the engineering profession at leading companies.

Throughout the day, the participants met with our engineers, explored advanced technology, and visited RISEโ€™s largest and most advanced Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) chamber โ€“ AWITAR (Automotive Wireless Test and Research Facility). At the RISE unique test facility, AstaZero in Sandhult, the participants experienced groundbreaking technology and tests on connected and automated vehicles.

At RISE, we are committed to fostering diversity and inspiring the next generation of engineers.

A big thank you to all participants for making the day truly memorable!
