The Design
Crossroads is engineered to support active safety validation, including Euro NCAP-related testing. The track combines long straight sections, a central intersection area, and dedicated zones for road edge detection testing, while maintaining high safety standards through flat geometry and forgiving roadside design.
About the track
Track length: 680 m, plus a 300 m acceleration section
Designed for testing both passenger cars and heavy-duty trucks
Flat longitudinal profile with a 1% cross slope for controlled drainage
Central intersection enables realistic crossing and intersection test scenarios
Dedicated area for road edge detection testing and shallow roadside ditches (1:5 slope) to reduce damage risks in case of run-off
